RVM Motherhouse Complex, Quezon City
Last Saturday, 10th of March, more than 250 beneficiaries trooped to our Motherhouse Complex for the 2012 Free Medical/Dental Reach-Out Activity of the Generalate Area communities. Specifically dubbed as “Lingap-Kalusugan: Alay Kay Madre Ignacia”, the reach-out was in cooperation with the BEC units of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish of Cubao, Quezon City.
As a free Medical/Dental reach-out, the activity was our commemorative offering to our revered Mother Foundress, the Venerable Ignacia del Espiritu Santo on her 349th baptismal anniversary last March 4, 2012. In particular, “Lingap-Kalusugan: Alay Kay Madre Ignacia” was organized to translate the “faith-life” of the Sisters to “service” among the less fortunate in our parish, provide health care for them through medical/dental services and conduct group sessions for their spiritual and physical well-being.
The Generalate Area Reach-Out Committee, composed of S. Maria Zita Valerio, RVM (Chair), S. Maria Melvie Malubay, RVM (Co-Chair), S. Maria Dolores Ferrandiz,RVM, S. Maria Rosabella Gallo, RVM, S. Maria Nenette Santiago, RVM, S. Maria Delia Serviño, RVM, and S. Maria Niza Tan, RVM (Members), would like to express their sincerest gratitude to all the Volunteers from different hospitals and clinics: Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Physical Therapists, for sharing their valuable time and selfless services; to the benefactors and friends for their generosity and commitment; to all the local superiors and members of the RVM communities for their support and cooperation; and to all our Sisters and Lay Staff from MINSAC, Motherhouse, St. Joseph Home, Generalate, St. Mary’s Novitiate, St. Mary’s Juniorate, and Betania for their very special presence and active participation through the various working committees. Likewise, the committee wishes to acknowledge, with deep appreciation, the remarkable assistance of the BEC Coordinators of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Parish. God reward them all a hundred-fold blessings!
