Today, March 25, 2012, the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary is blessed with fifteen (15) Sisters who committed themselves to become perpetually members of this Congregation. By their final profession of the evangelical counsels, the characteristic features of Jesus – the chaste, the poor, and the obedient – are forever made manifest in the midst of the world and in the eyes of the faithful are directed towards the mystery of the Kingdom. Together with other concelebrating priests, the Thanksgiving Mass at 9:00AM was blessed with the special presence of His Excellency, Auxiliary Bishop of San Fernando, Pampanga, Most Reverend Pablo Virgilio David, D.D. as Presider and Homilist.
We all pray that our Sisters will remain committed to God’s call and cherish His gift of vocation. And may this acknowledgement of the sublime gift of God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – become for them a source of unwavering faith, unfathomable joy, and unvarying hope.
