Greetings Fellow Educators and My dear Marians

Praised be Jesus and Mary.

For the past years, I have witnessed energy and enthusiasm emanating from professional and support staff members that emphasizes dedication, caring, and sense of service that is unparalleled. The face of St. Mary's College is positive and nurturing in preparing you the students for a world that rapidly changes and retains high expectations for those who choose to take advantage of all that is offered.

The unique opportunities to participate in educational, cultural and recreational activities, which are numerous and diverse, is a community "magnet" that join strangers and friends in common bond for the successful completion for this school year and your entry into a more challenging years ahead of you. I also wish to congratulate the parents, who more than anybody else, have laid down the foundations of their children's education and have carefully nurtured the dream, now a reality, of affording the finest education training to prepare them to take their place in society and to enable them to fulfill their special role in the service of His Kingdom.

Mention must, of course, be made and deep gratitude expressed to the middle administrators, faculty, the Sisters and our lay collaborators, the non-teaching personnel, classmates and friends, the other members of the family, all of whom have been part of the total formation of you dear Marians.

This school year marks the successful end of serious study, work, play, and all the other educative experiences that have been carefully planned to develop you into full human persons, Christian Filipinos, aware of your assets and limitations, of your rights and responsibilities, your worth and dignity, your role and destiny as individuals, and as members and builders of Christian communities.

Let each one of you be bearers of Christ's love and witnesses of the Gospel, incarnated in the specific milieu of the country, the culture God has given you to cherish. Congratulations and God bless.
