SMC- Grade School granted Level II PAASCU reaccreditation
St. Mary’s College, Grade School Department was granted a stamp of Level II ‘Clean’ Reaccreditation for a period of five years by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) after it underwent a two-day revisit last January 21-22, 2008.
A team of six accreditors and a PAACU representative conducted the resurvey. The team composed of the following with their areas of assignment:
Dr. Amelia Ronquillo- Administration; Ms. Fe Emuy- Faculty; Dr. Alma Hordista- Instructional Program; Mrs. Rosario Alfonso- Instructional Media Center; Mrs. Henrietta Cervillon- Student Activity Program and Facilities; Mrs. Suzette Aliño- Student Services; Ms. Maria Fe Antivola- PAASCU Representative.
The said department still bears true to its commitment in the search and pursuit for quality education, more so for providing wholistic formation of the pupils to contribute to the country’s growth in general.
The result was given last May 2008 and the recognition added to the school’s cap being one of the best private Catholic schools in the country. (Khelly Gaspan)
